This Fender 1000 with added knee levers is owned by Basil Henriques. Basil used pull rods rather than cables. The Sho-Bud barrels work great and are also shown on Jim Sliff's 1000 below to achieve multiple pulls on a string.

This Fender 1000, owned by Jim Sliff, has added knee levers and utilizes Sho-Bud barrels and an L- bracket to serve as adjustments for multiple pulls on a single string. The knee levers were inexpensive, but Jim says they work great.

This later model 400 was owned by Tommy Spurlock. It has a simple pull system using, cross-rods, pull-rods, cables and pulleys. The system worked well, but Tommy now plays an older model 400 set up with Sneaky Pete's B6 tuning/copedant and an all-rod pull system.

This 400 belongs to me (Gerald Pierce). It's my test bed for a cross-rod/pull-rod system. It's similar to mods on the above 400, but I inverted the pullers so the pull rods line up with the changer fingers. This photo is the first version. I've made some changes. I'm really pleased with the results so far.
