Thank you for your interest in the Maydelle Iron Horse Celebration! We invite you to a fun filled day with musical entertainment, the arrival of the Texas State Railroad train at the Maydelle depot and turntable, a queen contest, live band, karaoke contest, food concessions, displays of 100 years of historical happenings, arts and crafts vendors, and a street dance!

Maydelle is located; between Palestine and Rusk, South of Tyler and Jacksonville, Texas, on State Hwy 84 and FM 2138.

The festival will benefit the Maydelle Volunteer Fire Department in order to satisfy a grant requirement for a new water truck.

The day will be further enhanced with the cooperation and participation of the Texas State Railroad and an enactment out of the wild West , when the early 1900's steam engine and passenger train pull into town.

There will be drawings for prizes throughout the day.

Thank you, and we look forward to working with you.
